About Me
I first began my love of sewing after seeing the fantasy film LEGEND (1985), and was absolutely smitten with the costumes and design. I asked for a sewing machine to build upon my hopes and dreams, and the rest is embroidered in history. Since those days of taking sewing classes in high school, I have made my mark in theater, rock music, and supporting my local community.
My first production with Summer Stage Wooster theater in Wooster, Ohio was "The Little Mermaid" in 2024. As the sole costumer for the production, and a cast of 123 people, it was a dramatic undertaking but came out looking absolutely beautiful! I designed Ursulas costume in the theater dressing room when we realized the rented costumes were not going to work. One of my best achievements thus far. Following that are special ordered costumes of Beetlejuice, Snow White, Maleficent, and Hocus Pocus. My next theatrical costuming production will be in 2026, for the play "1776".
My talents are learned by family tradition, classroom, and self instruction. I pride myself on taking the time necessary to craft the fine details, finishing every hem, and listening to my clientele as they describe their wants and requests. I love to share in the joy of creating an idea of a garment that is the wearers dream, or altering a gown to fit just right.. to make fantasies come true! As a woman owned, and woman run business, I understand the needs and fit of the womanly figure. I believe in dressing for the size you are now, and accentuating your natural figure instead of hiding it. I want to work with you to help you feel your best!
